Early on in our Donn Beach research, Donn's widow Phoebe Beach introduced us to Tim "Swanky" Glazner. Aside from being one of the pioneers of the modern Tiki movement, and writing the outstanding book, Mai Kai: History and Mystery of the Iconic Tiki Restaurant, for which he is the official historian. He's currently writing a biography called Searching for Don the Beachcomber and he has been entrusted by Donn's widow Phoebe with all of Donn's personal journals, photographs and other items. He has graciously agreed to come aboard our project as a co-producer and historical expert and we couldn't be more proud to have him on our team.
